I met so many wonderful Arizona teachers at the conference in Phoenix. It is so much fun to interact and hear how things are going in different schools!

Today, one of my little high energy students said, "My brain just loves our class!" LOL!!!

Hi Deb,

Met you at the end of the conference. I am at North Ranch and I LOVE WBT! Hooray!

Today we used action figures to act out "The Mitten". They loved having their "animals" climb into the mitten. They were glued to the story, and I knew they were just waiting for the part when the bear sneezes and the mitten explodes.

Also used the because slap in Social Studies yesterday. They told whether they would rather live on a farm or in a big city and WHY. Their answers were so much better because of because. They remembered to do it because they wanted to do the slap!

It is soooo great to hear that your Kinders are enjoying the Brain Toys!!! Can you imagine how far their thinking will zoom just by adding the word "because"? We love to help them extend their responses in an effective and fun manner. Soon, they will start transferring all of this wonderful oral vocabulary into their writing. Kindergarten is such an amazing, growing year!

The conference in Phoenix was amazing. This was the third time for me to attend a conference with Chris. Each time I learn more and more. I enjoyed all that you shared with us as well. We will be working hard in Jackson, MO to spread the message of WBT and all it's benefits. Thanks for having us.
