I'm going from a classroom of 20, to homeschooling my 2 boys. My oldest has special needs so I need to take care of him first before I go back into the classroom. My question is, is there anyone out there who homeschools and has tried Biff's Whole Brain Teaching? Am I going to be the new guinea pig?

Well, It's been a busy year and I have been surviving the homeschooling experience. What has helped me the most is the 5 classroom rules, the scoreboard game, crazy profesor, and the super speed 100 and 1000 for both kids. Also, I use mirror and words for comprehension on what ever subject or conept we are learning. This has worked really well with science and learning about the different groups of dinosaurs. All parents at home can use the super speed games to help their childs fluency and learning of the sight words. My educational specialist is asking about the super speed games and I am going to e-mail her the web site for Whole Brain Teaching. If there is anyone who homeschools as well I'm so interested in speaking with you.
