To all my fellow new teachers and those new to WB, hello! I will be beginning my 5th year of teaching on Sept. 8th, teaching Special Ed. RSP/SDC Language Arts to 7th and 8th grade students. I too will be starting the year off with WB, after attending the conference in Sacramento. I would also love to hear from and support my fellow teachers with this program. I would also like to open my classroom to observations of the program...but probably would like about a week or so to get my feet wet:P
After having attended the conference and reading the manual, I am very excited and pumped to have this learning method in my classroom. I too would like more insight into what it takes to be a WB teacher....but I honestly beleive that anyone that has taken the time to go to the training, review all of the wonderful videos available on line, along with the website...is already 98% there...I applaud those people who are willing to try something new, especially something like WB; Mr. Biffle was able to get a bunch of SCUSD teachers responding with yes, ok, etc...anyone can make this program work...just remember in your heart, you are moving forward to help your students be all that they can be!
