I am a 6th grade Math and Science teacher at a middle school in Riverside (Alvord Unified School District). I plan to attend the Whole Brain Teaching conference being offered in San Jacinto on April 18, 2009. I am interested in hearing from anyone currently using WBT in this area.

I work at Alvord USD in Riverside, and I came from San Jacinto USD when I first learned about Whole Brain Teaching. I am the only one that uses it from my school, though interest is drumming....

I taught last year at Twinhill in third grade and I used it all year. I am now teaching at Valley View and I am currently using it as well. There are many teachers in Alvord who are using it at various sites.

New to whole brain teaching -- currently with Val Verde USD teaching challenging students at elementary school. Would like to network with others utilizing WBT. thank you.

Val Verde is a tough district, alot like Alvord. I don't work in Riverside anymore (dang layoffs) but look below at the Alvord-ites...they'd be a good network for you!
