My name is Roxie and I teach with Chris Biffle at his seminars. I was in the classroom for 7 years but had to quit to take care of my own special needs son. I'm going to be homeschooling him because he needs my one on one power teaching at home. Biff and I had meet to discuss our next seminar that we are teaching and he came up with a great idea for my son Jake. He was wanting to quit Jiu Jitsu and I new it was just because he would get frustrated and say I can't. Well Biff gave me the idea to set a record of how long he could go with out complaining or saying I can't in his Jiu Jitsu class. I asked my son what he thought and he said he could go for 10 minutes. I asked him what he would like as a reward if he reaches his goal. He told me to play video games for a half hour that day. I said great. I told him I would be timing him and that we would see how he does. He was watching me to see if I was paying attention and asked me at his water break if he made the 10 minutes. I told him that he did and that I was very proud of him...Oh also to back track I had to show him what complaining meant. We role played. I was him amd he was me. Needless to say he ended up doing very well for the rest of the class and got to play his video game for a half hour. I praised him and he even bragged to his dad how good he did and what moves he had practiced. He never even use to remember any of his moves in class.

Roxie,
I just wanted to say keep it up! I am a special needs teacher, and am very excited to start the WBT program with my new students in Sept. I am constantly amazed at how this program is so beneficial in so many different aspects of our lives. I wish more people were aware of this program....I'm doing my best to spread the word.
