I have been using WBT for 5 weeks now in my sixth grade classroom. I have a few difficult students, one in particular who is very negative and angry. In the last few weeks he is smiling more, less defensive, and less likely to have to "save face" with is peers. I contribute this to the fact that so much can be dealt with addressing the group and what I observe for the scoreboard that he no longer is being "called out". The students know where the problem areas are and address the offenders themselves (nicely) so they can "win". Even his members of his own posse correct him and he responds! I have shared this all over my school and we are on fire with this program. Thank you Mr. Biffle for making it so accessible to us and easy to use! I am so happy this year and can't think of how I survived teaching 14 years without it!
