I really pump my students up when we do new power pics, vocabulary or stress a new skill. I also tell them, now tell mom or dad just how smart you are. We even had the children test their parents on WBT open house night as a scavenger hunt. The kids made them do gestures and ask power pic questions. The kids checked the parents off on each item and if they got 100% they (the kids)got a prize.
