TOPIC: SuperSpeed Math

SuperSpeed Math 3 years, 1 month ago #806

I have a question about using SuperSpeed Math. During the 60 time period are students expected to say the problem and answer, or just the answer?

I have my children tell the problem and the answer. I think that it helps them to stay focused.

They are expected to say the whole number sentence and answer to go on to the next fact. This repition helps them to memorize the facts.

I have another question about Super Speed Math.

If a student gives all of the correct answers to the problems that he/she does during the timings, then the student crosses out one line of problems. However in my class some students were correctly answering three problems in the one minute timing and then crossing out the line, so they were not getting the practice on the facts that they needed.

Am I doing something wrong?
