Check this wikispace for seeing the pictures: http://powerteachingtarragona.wikispaces.com/Escola+Mestral

It's my classroom. I'm teaching part time, and I'm sticking to WBT. My principal wasn't likely to allow me to use it, but I didn't care what she said.

The results, as always, are very good!

Hope you like the pictures! Thanks Chris for the posters!

Hi there! I am a teacher in Malaga and it was a lot of fun to see your pictures. I can't believe you are able to implement all this WBT stuff in your classroom! I am actually "lectora" in a Bilingual school in Malaga. Since I am not the main teacher in my classroom, I can't implement everything I would like from WBT, but it fascinates me that you have gotten your students to teach in pairs and all that. Are you at a British school or a bilingual one? Do you find that their spoken English has improved with power teaching? For now, I have used the classroom rules and the class, yes, and it's working beautifully. Just thought it was interesting to see someone from Spain trying this on Spanish students. Best of luck.

Hi there Manitas!

Sorry I didn't answer before...

The truth is that I'm not currently teaching English. I'm a classroom teacher in a "monolingual" (we deal with three languages, but two of them as second or foreign languages) and I use WBT to teach them Maths, Catalan, Science and PE.

I want to do a PhD trying to see how well WBT fits into teaching English as a foreign language, but I don't have the chance yet due to my situation at school. I hope that I will be able to go back to teaching English soon.

If you are interested in finding out the results of the PhD, let me know and I'll try to forward you the information (once I finish it, so in 3 or 4 years-time... )

Best,

Edward
