TOPIC: Where to Start, When to start

Where to Start, When to start 2 years, 9 months ago #1967

Hi-

I am new to using whole brain teaching and very excited for the school year to start and put it into play, but where, how do I start? Any suggestions.

I start on the first day. I teach 6th grade. We practice the five rules and we kind of make a game of it. I point to a table of kids and I say RULE # and they have to say it back with gestures. We might also practice the YADDA YADDA scale - they love that!
