I'm a brand new whole brain teacher! I've taught my class over the last two weeks, the class yes, mirror, teach, we use the score card. I'm also using power pix. My question is, how do I keep the energy and excitement going with these strategies. They are going great now, but I'm worried things will change in the coming months.
Tips? Advice?

Let me just share this ...the whole year, oh yeah! Not to toot my own horn but for the 35 years I've been teaching using whole brain this past year it was THE BEST. Now advice, keep it up, watch videos, talk here, keep things fresh and exciting, change tone and class "yes" variety. Most of all STICK WIYH IT! The rewards far otweigh any roadblocks you may come across.

I just started WBT this year in kindergarten. It was fabulous! What a great start to the school year- everyone was learning words with the Biffytoons! Then I had to switch to first grade... not enough kinder students. Well, I think I am turning around a class that was known to be a behavior problem - thanks to WBT! I do need to keep up the enthusiasm! If I don't have it, they don't get it!

Great Mwoolam!!

Keep up the enthusiasm and the kids will have a ball! Students enjoy learning so much the WBT way! Also, the day just flies by for all of us! My students always say "It's already time to go home?" So happy to hear you enjoying WBT! Keep us posted!
