Hi - I teach 6th grade science. Does it work to use power teaching with science or can it just be used with LA and Math? How many concepts can you teach if you are teaching in 30 second intervals? I am eager to hear from someone about how it has worked for them. Thanks!

YES YES YES!!! I totally used these strategies with science. I used it for reading the book, vocabulary, group work in biology and earth science. It can be tricky to get the mini lesson in tiny segments at times, but totally worth working it out. The students love making gestures for "body parts" of the animals we disect and how they are linked. Then there is comparative anatomy where you can use the compare/contrast strategies from WBT. Try it youll like it!
