TOPIC: trying to find the place to donate for program 511

trying to find the place to donate for program 511 4 months, 2 weeks ago #9348

Sorry, I can't find anywhere to post this. I watched the Webcast from WBT tonight.

I cannot find a paypal or other link anywhere to donate.

How can I find this?

Hi! On the Home page above Member Log In , you will find the Pay Pal symbol. You will donate $5.11 for yesterday's program. Within a few days you will receive email notifying you the program is ready for download. Hope this helps.

On the 511 webisode Coach B talked about when kids pass their record they start on the next level from where they previously started. If started on level 1, they would start on level 2 the next time right? Wouldn't that mean they would have to play the game 100 times to advance to SS 1000? I want to make sure I've got this down, I think I have around 100 days of school left and I want to start.

Fernando: You're right ... 100 levels would take 100 days to complete! ... but this would be for very new readers. You can move some of your pairs of kids up to the higher levels if lower levels are too easy. In addition, use your teacher's intuition when it would be a good time to speed things along and move everyone up however many levels you think best. For whole group practice, use Electronic SuperSpeed 100 ... that will speed up the level advancement.

Since I work in Learning Support, I find that Superspeed reading can be very differentiated and adaptable. I "test" my students at the beginning of the year. Some need to start at the very beginning, while others start with 1,100. Electronic superspeed reading is great also with the whole group. When lower students are in the group, we practice using 100 so that they have great role models to help them along. When the group consist of mainly "higher" individuals, we go through 1000. It doesn't hurt the lower functioning to follow along if they are present. You never know when they might catch on to something! These are awesome tools.
