Is there anyone out there who would like to attempt a whole brain teaching collaboration project using The Bridge to Terabithia? I am a learning support teacher for 4th grade. One of the regular fourth grade teachers and I are trying to put together a unit on the book to change things up for the end of the year. We are looking to start somewhere around the week of April 11. If you would like to participate, we are looking for a 4th (or 5th) grade classroom that has a smart board so that we can collaborate together with a few of the lessons. We have ideas for vocabulary lessons, journaling, book discussions, etc. We also thought it would work well to include some of our bully lessons into our class meetings that tie in so nicely to the book. I know this is a last minute idea, but thought it may help keep the students interest as they anticipate summer break.
