The superindendent observed my classroom on Monday.
I was just ending calendar time and seguing into reading the big book Ten Dogs in the Window. I was using whole brain teaching and the kids were really enjoying it and were all engaged!
I got a hand written note in my mail box today saying that he enjoyed being in my room and he liked my engagement strategies!!!

That was a great way for you to showcase WBT. I think more and more administrators are seeing what a wonderful resource WBT is for student engagement/learning. Many times they have never heard of it and are impressed by the way students are learning. As we all know, if students are not engaged they are not learning. Hopefully, by seeing the way your students are responding, more educators at your will be encouraged to jump on board.
