In my graduate ethics class tonight, we had a discussion on what parts of the brain made decisions. Thanks to Chris Biffle, I could add to the discussion. But, I was called on why my little fingers were wiggling when talking about the pre-frontal cortex. It just gave me a chance to testify and spread the WBT good news. Can I get an Oh Yeah!

It's wonderful that the first thing addressed in WBT is how it meets all of the areas, in the brain, needed to provide a successful understanding, with respect to learning. Often, in this profession, there are many skeptics when it comes to new learning philosophies. I have heard from other professionals that they feel their classes are doing fine and it would be way too much to start over, after they have been teaching for x amount of years. My site has many veteran teachers and few new teachers. The new teachers love WBT because they see instant results. Others aren't willing to try it......yet:) Hopefully, the entire school can work as a unit so we can see some record breaking results!!
