Scrapbunny,
Great job on the gestures and thanks for posting the slides on your blog. 10 finger wooo!
How useful have you found the gestures in helping students learn the alphabet?
Are your gestures standard from WBT or somewhere else, or did you make them up?
Biffytoons gives the first 48 most common written words with gestures, but I have not seen the alphabet anywhere else on the WBT site.
If there is no other set of gestures for the alphabet, I suggest that you submit your gestures to Chris to be reviewed and accepted as the standard. I think it is helpful for the little ones to have standard gestures from class to class, and in the case of basics like the alphabet it will help if they all have the same gestures when moving up to the next grade no matter which teacher or school they came from.
