Hi! I need some help with a picture and a gesture for realistic fiction. I have the one with from the ebook with 3 eyes for fiction, but I'm stumped on realistic fiction. Could anyone help out a 3rd grade teacher with an idea for a picture and a gesture so that I could make one? My definition is, "Realistic fiction is a made-up story that could really happen."

I used the 3 eyes for fiction and for realistic I pointed to the other students and the classroom. That is to show realistic characters and setting. So we point around and then do the 3 eyes for realistic fiction. I found some great genre pictures and info on a website: kimskorner4teachertalk.com. I just found it from googling around. I'm going to try that, Bria. Maybe your way will work. I had tried used the fiction poster, too, but the kids said, "If it's realistic, someone couldn't have 3 eyes."

I think I confused them, so I'll try it again with the pointing to them and the classroom first.
