I have struggled with skip counting. We have done songs, raps so on. So today just because i said while we were doing smoothly bumper planet I've got it. I told them we had a new game called "take over_".
So here is the idea, one child is the captain skip counter (using the smoothy bumper worksheet) their partner watches them count. The captain counts then says "take over" the partner needs to start skip counting at the next number then they can say take over. They keep switching. We did two's and tried three's.
Anyway we will see if it helps just thought I'd share.
