EDIT: Changed this to World Languges, as we can ALL work with each other!
Je sais que vous êtes ici....
I'll introduce myself in English, however.
My name is Katie Johnston, and I'm the French teacher at William Penn SHS (aka York High) in York, PA. I'm the only French teacher in the district, so things get rather interesting. I always have multiple sections of French I and II. If I'm really lucky, I'll get a French III/IV section every two years or so.
I became interested in WBT after a student from
Millersville University mentioned the technique to me, and I looked it up on YouTube with him. Needless to say, I was very impressed and very amused!

I *knew* this would work with my students- I get every kind there is.
So, my question for you,
mes collègues, is this: did you decide to translate any of the WBT techniques
en français/en espanol/auf deutsch? If so, what did you decide upon?
Do you have any favourite hand gestures?
I'm also thinking of re-doing the SpeedMath drills for verbs and vocab working with the Bien Dit! 1 text, for those who are interested (or perhaps already beat me to it?).
Enchantée!
