If you ever have an opportunity to attend a Whole Brain/Power Teaching Seminar, do not pass go, do not collect $200, GO GO GO as fast as you can, and bring a few dozen co-workers. Today was one of the most exciting, helpful, insightful, educational (in the truest sense of the word), and fun days I have ever experienced. Chris Reksted did an incredible job of modeling Whole Brain Teaching, involving us every step of the way. School begins in less than 2 weeks, and I can't wait to use what I learned today. There were six of us from my school, and we all agreed that these "tools" (not the right word, but I'm not sure how to describe this) make so much sense and will impact students in a profound and powerful way. Thanks, Chris (and cohorts), for sharing this, and for your genuine desire to equip teachers to inspire, engage, teach, excite, etc. our students--no matter what subject or grade. It's rare to learn in six hours something that will change your classroom forever!
