As the principal of a middle school in Mississippi, I have had the good fortune of stumbling across Power Teaching. After sharing some of the basics, many teachers have experimented with it in their classrooms - with positive results.

Are there any workshops scheduled for June or July? I'd love to send a few teachers to bring back the ins and outs of this program with the rest of our staff!

Thanks for your interest in Power Teaching! Amazingly enough, some of our biggest successes are with middle school students. There will be a seminar in Garland, Texas at the end of this month and perhaps one in West Palm Beach Florida in August. We'll post all Power Teaching events on our calendar on this website, usually a month in advance. However, many teachers have taught themselves the basics of Power Teaching with our free online videos and ebooks ... and now that we have this forum, encourage your teachers to post their questions here. Three of our most gifted Power Teachers, Jeff Battle, Sara Reeves and Jackie Pedersen are frequent contributers ... and, they're all middle school instructors!

Where are you in Mississippi? I went to junior high and high school on the gulf coast, spent college at Mississippi State, then lived in North Mississippi for a couple of years before transplanting to Texas. My husband and I plan to move back to Mississippi when we send our kids to college - Mississippi State, of course!
