Hello everyone! It's great to see the new website. I've been following Power Teaching for a while now and was surprised to see the new setup. I'm currently in school at LeTourneau University to finish me degree and become a certified teacher. I will be a generalist for 4-8 grade here in Texas. I live in the DFW area and I'm trying to spread the word to fellow students and teachers about Power Teaching. So far, none of my professors, classmates, or teacher friends have heard of Power Teaching. Once I showed them the videos and information they were all intrigued. I hope to find a Power Teacher in my area to student teach with in January of 2010. Since I want to be a Power Teacher, it would be nice to learn from one.

Hey Chris - we spoke early by email, are you going to make it to our workshop on Saturday?

I would like to, but I coach soccer and our first game is Saturday. I'm not sure what time as I don't get the schedule until tomorrow. It's possible I could make it if we have an early game. Is there room left? Does it matter that I'm new to Power Teaching?

Does not matter - come by when you can, there is still room, I will put you on the list, and if you can't make it just watch for the next one!
