Hello! I am a first grade teacher from Indiana. I have a co-worker who just started using WBT this year. I have watched the videos over and over. I have read all of the downloaded information. I am excited about starting to use WBT with my students, but I am just not comfortable with it yet. I would like to chat with other first grade teachers who are more experienced. I am encouraged about the positive aspects of this way of teaching. I am also interested in attending a conference in Indiana. Indianapolis might be a great place to hold this conference. I live over an hour north of Indianapolis. I always enjoy attending conferences with other professionals interested in the same topics.

Hello, welcome! Jump right in here and get all of your questions answered! WBT is definitely a program you will build on as you go and you will get better and better. I myself am new just this year, and started with baby steps to get myself trained and comfortable, adding more as I went on and felt I had "mastered" things. I love it. My class loves it. I am a better teacher because of it I think and less stressed. I am a fourth grade teacher, not first, but I love how cute the little ones are doing the same things my 4th graders are.
Definitely go to a conference if you get the chance. I drove 3 hours to get to the FL one and it was worth every mile!!
