Hi all the way from Gibraltar.

I only came across powerteaching online this week and was so interested that ive been looking into it and started the very very basics with my class. There is so much yet to do and i really need to try and let it become my new way of teaching. Any advice?

My advice is what all the others here would say....go slow, take it one step at a time, and you will be amazed at the progress your students will make. The younger they are, the slower and more repetition you will need.
