Hello everyone. My name is Matt Harmon and I am a junior Elementary Education major at Lebanon Valley College. I was just recently introduced to Power Teaching a few weeks ago by my host teacher, Mr. Hopple, and I think it is AWESOME. Though I am relatively new to teaching, I see how Power Teaching has helped Mr. Hopple's 6th grade class. Mr. Hopple utuilizes Power Teaching to engage students in learning which helps create a better learning environment, and from what I have observed has made students excited to learn. I am looking forward to learning a lot more about Power Teaching and eventually integrating it into my classroom when I become a teacher.

Welcome, Matt! This is the best time to be introduce to PT...before you even start teaching! That way, you won't need to 'retrain' yourself, this will just be how you've always done it. I think you'll have a big advantage that way, really. Utilize us in any way that you can, there are plenty of Power Teachers here ready to offer advice, brainstorming, etc...
