TOPIC: power pics?

power pics? 12 months ago #5860

I was wanting to use the power pics with my 1/2 split next year but I am seeing that not all of the standards are in there. Are these the new national standards. I am from CA. I figured that is what they are. Is there a reason why you don't have them all?

That would probably be a "Chris" question. What grade level are you teaching? I find that the Power Pix address most of what is needed even in our state (Missouri). Some of the teachers that I work with made up their own Power Pix for the standards that they found missing based on the format of the Power Pix we had.
You might consider listing what you need and seeing if anyone out there has made a Power Pix for that standard.

I have found for my first grade class that the powerpics cover the essential standards. The standard in the corner in the California standard. I have edited the Language Arts PowerPics to have the Common Core standards and am working on math. You can find those on my WBT blog,scrapbunnywbt.blogspot.com/

You can find blank power pic sheets here, wholebrainteaching.com/index.php?option=...=6054&Itemid=203

hope that helps:)
