Hello out there! Well, I just graduated with my Bachelors degree in May (2011) and I am now teaching 4th grade in Maryland. I teach military children so my population is extremely transient - which makes WBT something that I DESPERATELY want to incorporate into my classroom.

Go for it, it will change you forever. I taught at an all military school here in San Diego so i can empathise. It is a revolving door. WBT would be what these kids need structure and fun. Any way I can help - give me a salute.

Hi there! You are not far from me in southern DE. I bet once your "more permanent" kids learn the WBT methods, they will make great leaders for your new kids that come in. Give me a shout if you ever want to share ideas.

Inorrisk6,
How are things going in your classroom? I am very curious how your students are responding. I teach in a community, near Edwards Airforce Base. Many students' parents are in the airforce. I too see lots of new faces! I have found that students pick up very quickly, and in regards to classroom management, it is an absolute savior!

Let me know please:)
