Hello! I'm new to WBT, I just came across it a few months ago and I'm really excited to try it out with my class. I'm starting a grade 1/2 class (just afternoons) next week after being off on an extended maternity leave for 16 months. I'm in Ontario and had never heard of WBT or seen it used. I'm hoping that it will go well for me and that it will catch on in our school board. Nice to "meet" you all!

Laurie, welcome. We are all here to help. Let me suggest going to the top of this page and review the first steps. Then you can select some you tube videos. Take things slow and ask lots of questions. Try to attend a seminar if you are able to get to one.

I like to think of WBT as being divided into 3 parts:

Teaching Techniques- The Big Seven
Classroom Management- Six Levels
Basic Skills- All SuperSpeeds, Biffytoons, Crazy Prof, Power Pix, Mind Soccer and more!
