I recently began using Mind Soccer more often with my 7th graders. Usually I let them thirst for it over the first trimester. It is amazing how competitive they get just by putting the boys on one side and the girls on the other. They love the game and are now asking for it all the time. By next trimester, I hope to be able to have the kids run the game themselves. The captains will each have a set of questions and use them to quiz the other team.
I have a list of about 100 questions that I use for Mind Soccer. So I was thinking that it would be good for us to start sharing questions according to content area. I think in middle school and high school it is less important to worry about grade level for this game because it is a review. So therefore, we can focus on the essential standards and concepts that reappear throughout the years. Of coarse there will be some things that are too difficult for middle schoolers that you high school teachers may want to review, but I think it would be a great idea to share.
I will start a thread for each core subject area: English, Math, Science, and History. Then, lets all try to come up with questions and post. This way we can copy and paste each other's ideas to our own lists.
LETS GO WBT!!!

Mind Soccer is amazing. I tried it today and the kids fell in love with it. It is best when it is kept fast moving. The questions I use are all standard based. We have a set of flash cards that go over all our standards. They are kind of set up like what am I? We will definitely be playing this again!

So just to be clear, your "what am I?" questions are kind of like jeopardy where they are given a definition or answer and have to give you the concept correct?
Example:
I can be a person, place, or thing... What am I? Answer: a noun
