One of my colleagues is planning on implementing the entire WBT model classroom format with a 4/5 combo! Is there anyone out there that can offer some insight teaching a mixed grade WBT style?

Heather, I can tell you that I had a kindergarten /first grade combo and I used all WBT the same with both groups. Having taught special education day classes where there are 3 grade levels each year I always treated the class as one. It helps build a sense of family and team work. I had to really stop and think for "official" paper work who was who.
