Today was PD day at our building. Staci Glass and I shared WBT with our faculty, Oh Yeah!
The response was great!! We have a lot of teachers using "Class - Yes" and the "Scoreboard" now. After reviewing the Big Seven and teaching a Power Pix lesson using WBT, I believe we have many more teachers ready to join in the WBT movement.

I was so excited after our presentation on Monday. Susan and I have been fielding several questions and getting other teachers on the website. I've convinced a couple of our teachers here at West Lane to attend the workshop in Joplin on the 26th, and I will be going with them as extra support and because I love WBT!

Staci and Susan you two are doing a great job on the forum and spreading the word of WBT! Somehow I missed meeting you in Joplin and I'm sorry about that. You two are tearing it up in MO. If at all possible, get to West Plains in July and let's talk a bit about all that you are doing.

That sounds great. We would enjoy talking with you. What are the dates for West Plains? My husband and I usually take vacation days the week of the 4th, but we don't have anything set in stone yet.

A previous thread said the dates for West Plains will be the 6th and 7th! Yay!

Thanks Chris! Susan and I have been working hard on the WBT movement here in Jackson!

I even have my block student incorporating it into her lessons that she is teaching my class. She thinks it's an awesome tool. When her professor came to observe her yesterday, he was full of questions about WBT and wants to try it in his college class. I have an upcoming presentation scheduled for the Kappa Delta Pi chapter at Southeast Missouri University too.

We're really excited about the upcoming workshop in West Plains. We would love to sit down and catch up!

Hey Chris!

Susan and I will be attending the workshop in West Plains. We're really looking forward to it and would love to sit a chat about all that's happening here in our area! We're also working on our plans to attend the National Conference in June in Louisiana! Our Assistant Superintendent asks me about WBT every time she sees me, so we're really working on getting more teachers in our district and the surrounding areas on board with WBT!

Just found out that Susan and I are going to be able to attend the National Conference in Louisiana. We're super excited!

There are also a lot of new teachers coming to our building next year, and we're ready to get them on board with WBT! We have a new 3rd grade teacher, a new 4th grade teacher, and 2 new 5th grade teachers! The new 3rd grade teacher is my mentee, which I just found out today. I have already e-mailed her and am planning on bringing her along to the workshop in West Plains in July! She's going to have to jump on the WBT bus, especially being my mentee! I'm super excited to see how great I think it's going to make her first year.

Did you know that there are probably more Wibbeteers per capita in the Show Me state than anywhere else? ... even California! Please take all the credit!

Thank you. We feel very lucky to be able to attend both conferences. We are very fortunate to have administrators that believe in WBT and are encouraging us to continue learning, using and presenting to others.

We are so excited about attending both conferences and can't wait to get more of our colleagues using WBT. I know what a difference it has made in my classroom, and I am so excited to share it with everyone else! I printed off the handouts for the workshop in West Plains and have already started looking through all of them! Can't wait!

People of MO...I am honored to be coming to your state with Biffle, even though I wasn't born there. I look forward to the "Steak-N-Shake" and the Merrimac Caverns. We'll be rocking again this year. It's hard to believe that it's coming so soon.
