I used Whole Brain Teaching this year and am really excited about the results. Our school has traditionally scored very low on our NC EOGs. Let's just say we were the very lowest in the state more than once in the last 15 years.

With that said...we've been steadily improving over the last 3 years due to an increased focus on putting highly qualified educators in the classrooms.

My primary area of focus is science. The 5th grade students scored 76.9% proficient this year and I know that WBT definitely made an impact on my teaching! I wondered if anyone else was trying this in NC and seeing similar results?

By the way, we are a really small school and as soon as other teachers heard me talking about it and saw it in action they began using WBT too. It spread like wild-fire.
