Hello All! This situation is similar to the excessive talking thread. I did read all of those posts.

I believe there are a number of individuals in my different classes that need cards...here is my problem.

I have 160 students...so making a 'sleeve' for each isn't really feasible. I have just giving out cards...but at the end of class I can't keep track of whom I gave them to!?!

Any suggestions!?!

Do you have assigned seats? That will make it a lot easier. Assign a number to each student in each class, and have numbers for each card pocket. Put the card in the correct number. Have a sheet with their names and numbers on it, an at the end of class just check off the name, or something similar to that. This way you're never working with more than 25-35 numbers (depending on the size of your classes) at a time, and have a way of tracking things.

Great idea. I tooo teach at the middle school level and have 4 different groups of kids rotate through my resource room each day. i was trying to figure out how to incorporate the cards in my classes. Thanks for the suggestion.

That's how I used to do it when I was doing Resource. Once you get the procedure down it's not hard.
