Hello to all on the board. I have recently completed my student teaching (10th and 11th grades) and am about to graduate with my English degree and my HS license. I had some frightful weeks during my student teaching with classroom management. (Why don't education classes prepare you for management?)
My niece (also majoring in English with HS license) introduced me to a WBT video on YOUTUBE. I was intrigued.
I think subbing will provide the perfect opportunity to put the very basics of Class/Yes, Teach/OK into practice during the next fews weeks and allow me to really figure it out before I get my own classroom.
One question though -
Does anyone have experience with hearing impaired? I had a student in class today with her interpreter - does this interpreter "teach" to the other student?
