Jonib66,

I am a student at LMU working towards a teaching degree. I want to teach secondary school, with regards to business, finance, and basic math for 7th & 8th graders, or adult education. I also have a friend that teaches in the Alcoa middle school. We are both very interested in the training.

Please let me know when the next training will take place. You can email me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Thanks kindly,

Hello! I'd be happy to share WBT with you! Unfortunately, there are no seminars scheduled at this time. You are, however, more than welcome to come and visit my classroom once school starts back up. My suggestion for now would be to download all of the Ebooks and read, read, read! That's how I got started. Please feel free to email me with any questions that may come up. WBT will truly change the way you teach and the way your students learn.

Joni,

I would love to visit your classroom. Which school do you teach at? You may contact me at my school email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

I will be student teaching next fall 2010, however, I will be teaching high school students.

I would like to know how the whole brain teaching does with older students?

Thanks kindly,
Angie Brown

I teach at Maryville Intermediate School. I would love to have you visit. My husband teaches at Alcoa High School, so I'm sure you'd want to observe him as well. It works WONDERFULLY in high school. He has students who have begged their other teachers to teach with WBT! The kids definitely see the difference! I'll save your email address and get back with you when school starts. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please feel free to post them here!

Joni,
Would you be willing to go to other schools and do seminars on WBT? Our school is needing staff development ideas and our principal noticed me doing Whole Brain teaching last year. I suggested that he check into it. If you are willing to do this I could put you in contact with him and go from there. Otherwise I would be interested in any seminars you may plan in the future.

Yes, my husband and I have presented for several schools in this area and would love to do more! I would ask that you have your principal contact Chris Biffle for arrangements, as he is the one who manages our training.

Thanks!

It is a small world? My husband works at Alcoa High School & Middle School - he is the floor tech. I am at the Alcoa Middle School just about every day.
My mentor; Lon Fox teaches 8th grade history at AMS. He is also interested in WBT and has started using the games in his class. He is the person that told me about WBT and suggested I found out more. He also wants to attend a seminar.

I will look forward to hearing from you in the fall to set up a visit with your husband. What does he teach at the high school?

Thanks so much for all your understanding, help, and information.

Thanks kindly,
Angie Brown

Joni,
I am located in Grainger County, Bean Station to be exact. I have contacted my principal and am awaiting his response.
Thanks,
Linda

Sounds wonderful, Angie! In the meantime, make sure to download the ebook and watch as many youtube videos as you can to become familiar with the method!
