I am fresh out of the gates to learn about WBT. I am going to work my tail off this summer to learn as much as I can to start my classroom in a fresh way next year. After only teaching for two years, I am ready to switch it up!!
Can you share with me how to get started? The first things I should read? I did read through the "1st Steps" and "Levels" portion on the website. I am just looking for more options if there are any!! Thanks all!!

It sounds like you're off to a great start! This past year was my first year to fully implement WBT in my classroom, and it worked wonders. I feel like my kiddos retained so much more information and my class ran so smoothly! Check out the eBooks and read as much as you can! I started by learning as much as I could about the Big 7 and then went into the PowerPix, SuperSpeed, Brain Toys, etc. If you have a chance to attend any conferences, that is where you pick up so much information and tools for your big, back pocket. Also, I have learned heaps from reading through posts on the forum. There is a great support system out there for all of us. For me, becoming familiar with the Big 7 first made everything just flow, and then I introduced other aspects into my classroom. It seemed like a natural progression throughout the year. I hope this helps. If you have more questions, make sure you post them! You'll get the responses!

Thanks,

I can't agree more, just ask and we will all step up to help. Read, read and re read. Watch video's and practice if you can. WBT has changed my life. I have taught for 35 plus years and did my own version of part of this. But now with the research and direct input I am a very happy teacher. My experience has been nothing but positive energy, I love attending seminars and go as often as I can.
So take it slow, ask questions and you too will experience "teacher heaven". So, let's all cheer, OH YEAH!
