I am a bit confused about breaking personal records.

In reference to a student breaking a personal record the book says: "The next time she plays, she doesn’t start at A1, she starts one row down at B1. In this way, students advance through all the problems." However, on the math grids the rows are numbers and the columns are letters. Does that mean she only gets to move one problem to the right each time she breaks a personal record? Or is it supposed to say that she gets to move to A2 to begin the next time?

Can you see my confusion, or am I missing something here?

Thanks!
Ashley

Ashley ... you may have an older version of SuperSpeed Math ... I think I corrected that error ... but yes, the student always moves down one row when a record is broken, not across one problem!
